Arc de Triomphe

Designed by Jean François Chalgrin, a French Architect, the Arc de Triomphe resembles Rome’s Arch of Titus. This 50-meter massive arch is a larger-than-life figure that depicts the glorious return, victories, and departure of the French armies.

Thus, one of the most memorable things to do in France in November is to visit this spot and take a guided tour of the monument. There is a viewing platform at the monument’s top where from you can enjoy the sweeping views of the 12 avenues. It is recommended to stay still at 6:30 just to witness the 6:30 PM ritual that takes place every evening for rekindling the tomb’s memorial flame.

Timing: 10 AM – 10:30 PM

Notre Dame Cathedral Tour

Send Enquiry

The Cathédrale of Notre Dame is a French Gothic Architecture masterpiece that may look archaic compared to the city’s other famous landmarks but the detailed façade of the church will leave you awestruck. It took over 200 years for countless stonecutters, carpenters, and architects to erect this Gothic design masterpiece.

Hence one of the most soul-inspiring things to do in France in November is to visit this church. A large fire damaged the 19th-century spire and the medieval roof. But, you can still marvel at the resplendent stained-glass windows that filter the ethereal, jewel-toned light into the melancholic space.

Timing: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6:45 PM

Begun in about 1757 by the architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot, the Panthéon was built as the Church of Sainte-Geneviève to replace a much older church of that name on the same site. The facade is formed by a porch of Corinthian columns and a triangular pediment attached to the ends of the eastern arm.

The Panthéon is a cruciform building with lower saucer-shaped domes over the four arms and a high dome over the crossing. Decorated with mosaics and paintings of scenes from French history, the site was reconsecrated and re-secularized several times during the 19th century.

Visiting Disneyland in Paris has always been a dream of mine and I get to thoroughly enjoy it. My idea of pre-booking the tickets was on point. I really didn't want to take any chances. Every moment I spent there was magical and I even got past the queue pretty fast. If you are going to visit Disneyland you better get an advance ticket booked, trust me it really helps.

The best part about the cruise was the breathtaking view that it served. The commentator in the ship was well informed and gave us great insights throughout the cruise. The trip lasted for about 30 minutes and we got to take a couple of very elegant pictures of the city from the cruise.

I would recommend every person who wants to get into some shopping should definitely visit La Vallee Village. It is worth every penny.
