How to Reach
The second day of your Bali trip takes you on a wonderful journey to Uluwatu. You can hire a cab, rent a 2-wheeler or simply hop on a Bemo to travel from Ubud to Uluwatu in 1 hour and 52 minutes while travelling a distance of around 53.3 kilometres.
Places to Visit:
1. Pura Luhur Uluwatu- Pura Luhur Uluwatu is a famous temple on a high cliff in Uluwatu. It is a special place to watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean. You can also see traditional Kecak dance shows here.
2. Suluban Beach- Also known as Blue Point, Suluban Beach is a hidden beach in Uluwatu. You are required to go down steps and through narrow gaps in the rocks to get to Suluban Beach. It is a great place to indulge in surfing activities in your Bali itinerary for 4 days.
3. Padang Padang Beach- Padang Padang Beach is a famous surfing spot in Bukit Peninsula in Bali. It is a special place because you enter through a big rock hole to access this beach. The beach has white sand and clear water, which is perfect for building sandcastles and swimming.
4. Thomas Beach- Thomas Beach is a hidden gem in Uluwatu with long white sands and calm waters. It is great for swimming and learning water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding. You can rent equipment for water sports and enjoy local food from nearby warungs.
5. Dreamland Beach- Dreamland Beach is a beautiful spot on the Bukit Peninsula in Bali with golden sand and blue water. It is known for great surfing waves and stunning sunsets. The beach is part of the Dreamland resort area with many facilities like resorts, restaurants, and cafes.
Places to Shop:
1. Bvlgari Boutique Bali- The Bvlgari Boutique in Uluwatu is a great place to shop on your 4 days Bali itinerary. It has luxury items from the famous Bvlgari brand. You can find beautiful jewellery, watches, and accessories here. They also sell special clothes only found in Bali, like silk brocades and batik pieces.
2. Nirmala Supermarket Ungasan- Nirmala Supermarket Ungasan is a great place to shop when you are heading to Pura Luhur Uluwatu. This local supermarket sells items, like fruits, vegetables, and clothes. You will also find a fun games arcade on the second floor of the market.
Water Sports:
1. Surfing- Surfing is a super fun water sport you can do at Padang Padang Beach and Dreamland Beach. You can rent a surfboard from nearby clubs and jump into the waves. This thrilling activity lets you either lie down on the board and paddle or stand up and ride the waves.
2. Snorkelling- Snorkelling is a great way to see the beautiful underwater world in Uluwatu. You can swim underwater with fish and see colourful corals. All you need to do is bring your snorkelling gear and camera to capture these amazing sights on your Bali itinerary 4 days.
3. Sea Walking- Sea walking lets you walk on the seafloor and discover marine life closely. It feels like you are taking a walk in an underwater park. While sea walking, you can see different sea creatures and plants.
