Named after the marine surveyor Sir Daniel Ross, the island has been pulling in a considerable measure of visitor around the globe.

Although a bit hidden from the other islands of the Andaman, Cinque Island is another beautiful island in the Andaman. This island is inhabited by people, but the soothing beauty is unfathomably replenishing. The coral reefs and bird populaces here are essentially untouched by man. Cinque Island is a piece of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. The island is partitioned as north and south Cinque through a sandbar. There are chartered boats that take you to the island.

Highlights: Inglis Island is absolutely isolated and has picture-perfect sand beaches and deep jungle. On your visit to this island, you will notice strange sounds and smells. Location: Located at few kms away from Havelock, you can procure a small boat to reach up to Inglis Island. It is advisable to carry enough cash in hand while visiting this place.

Perched on a long promontory, right at the top of the island and surrounded by mangrove swamps, Mayabunder Island is home to a large minority of former Burmese Karen tribes. This group of tribes were originally brought here as cheap logging labour by the British. 

It is a low-key destination with lesser tourist spots if compared to other neighboring islands. The highlight here is the cultural eccentricity due to the presence of Bangladesh and east Pakistani settlers, ex-convicts and a Burmese hill tribe called Karen. 

Highlights: These tribes were relocated here during the British colonial period. It is a small town with almost no tourist infrastructure where communication can be a barrier as locals do not readily speak English. They rather speak Hindi or Bengali.

The shore at this island is fringed with mangroves and the beaches here are not as popular as others. Moreover, there are a few secluded islands nearby that are worth a visit as they offer some jungle experiences and amazing snorkeling opportunities.
