Banasura Sagar Dam

Flowing over three tiers of rocky hills, the Meenmutty Falls begin from a height of over 800 feet. The first tier can be reached conveniently after walking for about half a kilometre. Day 2 in Wayanad
Although the Jain Temple is an important pilgrimage center for Jains, it is visited by people of all faiths. The temple is a fine exposition of Jain architecture. The temple was built to commemorate the spiritual activities and achievements of Ananthanatha Swami, who was a Jain saint. An ancient temple which is famous all over Kerala and other states of India is Thirunelli Temple located in Wayanad on the side of Brahmagiri hills. It is dedicated to Lord Maha Vishnu. One of the major features of the temple is its location at an altitude of around 900 meters in a valley completely bounded by mountains and forest ranges.
But it is one of the most visited pilgrim centre in Wayanad and an important religious place for the majority of population in South India. The name Thirunelli comes from the words nelli which is given to the tree of gooseberry.
