Kasauli in Winter

If you are fascinated by snowfall and tolerate the chilly conditions, then winter is the right time to visit Kasauli. The snow-capped lower Himalayas present an enchanting view in winter. Nahari te
mple: The temple devoted to Goddess Durga and Lord Shiva is well known for its celebrations of Dussehra festival. The temple is believed to be constructed around 150 years ago. It is also referred to as ‘Jantar Mantar’ or ‘ Choo Mantar Mahadev Temple’.

Garden of Char Minar: 
The Garden of Char Minar, spread over 12.5 hectares, is located on the banks of Dal Lake in Kasauli. It is one of the Mughal Gardens constructed in Persian ‘char bagh’ style with numerous fountains, waterfalls, pavilions, lush lawns, and a myriad of colorful and fragrant flowers.The Frozen Dal lake and snowy Pir Panjal ranges mesmerize the tourists in the winter season.

Renuka
Fair: The fair is celebrated after the harvest of the summer crops, in the month of November, at the banks of Renuka Lake. People of Kasauli organize many cultural and entertaining activities during this period.

The climate in Kasauli during summer is pleasant with temperatures hovering between 14°C to 28°C. The tourists can roam about in light clothes, as the weather is cool and comfortable. We had an amazing quality family time at this amazing, well maintained, spacious, and well-staffed property with very good quality toiletries. Loved the stay. The duplex apartment was beautiful. It also had a terrace, a parking and an outdoor lawn area where the owner arranged a bonfire for us. There is an in house kitchen with a cook and a dining table as well. Me and my friends went to celebrate our New Year’s party there and the night went great. The owner and the staff were all very welcoming and cooperative. The rooms were pretty comfortable.

Fortune Forest hill resort is a must place to visit for nature lovers due to its location, ambience, vibrancy in the place is spellbound. The restaurant, coffee shop, swimming pool on the second floor are the spots to be enjoyed well in the property with your loved ones.
