Built in 1948, the Miami zoo covers over 740 acres and is home to more than 3,000 animals representing over 500 species. The zoo is committed to providing excellent care for its animals, as well as engaging and educating visitors about conservation and the importance of protecting wildlife.At Zoo Miami, you can see animals from all around the world, including African lions, Asian elephants, and American alligators.
