Overview

About the Activity:

  • Indulge in Marahni Kundri trek and relish the serenity that is filled with different wildlife species and also a lot of cedar forests.
  • The trek starts from the Eco zone of he Great Himalayan National Park, reach Pekhri by jeep and stroll through the scenic villages.
  • Enjoy camping in the village near a beautiful meadow, Rangthar with an enchanting view of the Tirthan valley and the national park.
  • Sink in the excitement of hiking on the second day, to the top of , Marahni through some thick oak forests and view the village down.
  • At night, relax at the campsite at Kundri or Rangthar and the next day, return to Pekhri.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Reach Pekhri andd camp at Rangthar

    The trek starts from Mungla village and get transferred to the village Pekhri.

    Hike to Rangthar meadow via the village Lakcha.

  • Day 2 -

    Hike from Rangthar to Marahni and enjoy the night stay either at Kundri or Rangthar.

  • Day 3 -

    Return to Pekhri or Gushaini

    Hike from the camp to either Pekhri or Gushaini.

The trek was easy to moderate, not very difficult. The natural beauty of the forests and the different kinds of wildlife made this experience even better. An amazing Himalayan trek that must be tried for all adventure lovers.
