Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Arrive in Lhasa

    Arrive in Lhasa, Tibet via plane or train.

    Upon arrival in Lhasa (3700m) meet your English-speaking Tibetan Guide and Tibetan Driver.

    Overnight stay in hotel in Lhasa

  • Day 2 -

    Lhasa tour with local guide

    In Lhasa (3700m) we explore the Jokhang Temple, the central monastery in Tibet, and the surrounding Bhakor Street, the bustling Lhasa market.

    In the afternoon we go to Sera Monastery to watch the monks debate in centuries-old manner.

    Overnight stay in Lhasa.

  • Day 3 -

    Visit Potala Palace in Lhasa

    In Lhasa (3700m) tour the Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama built in the 17th century by the fifth Dalai Lama, and Norbulinka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, built in the 18th century by the seventh Dalai Lama.

    Overnight in Lhasa

  • Day 4 -

    Lhasa – Namtso Lake – Lhasa

    After breakfast drive to Damxung, on the way see Mt. Tanggu-la (7500m) and drive through grasslands to Namtso lake, “Heavenly Lake.”

    Before getting to lake drive through the (Largen la pass (5200m) see the view of the lake from far and then still drive about 35km and we will reach the Lake.

    On the way, see Nomads around Namtso lake and after spending some time at the lake, drive back to Lhasa.

  • Day 5 -

    Depart from Lhasa

    Transfer to Lhasa train station or Lhasa airport.
