Bow down to the 24th highest waterfall in India, Keoti fall is undoubtedly one of the best waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh created by nature for a breathtaking experience. River Mahana is a tributary of river Tons and Keoti fall is the drop of River Mahana from Rewa Plateau. Cascading from a height of 130 meters, you can even freeze the alluring drop in your camera lenses.

Famous as a segmented type of fall with a single drop and is noted as the 24th highest waterfall in India. It is one of the first places to visit in Rewa for nature lovers. Look for the segmented slopes which entirely is known as Knick point or nick.

Discovered in the year 1982, these stupas are said to be about two thousand years old and belonging to the Ashoka's reign. As an attempt to spread Buddhism in the Vindhyan region during the period of Ashoka, the remains of Lord Buddha were distributed to create these stupas. Falling from a height of 70 meters, Purwa fall is a sight for the sore eyes. Another classic example of a Knickpoint is sure to interest the geography enthusiasts. Purwa falls is also descent off the Rewa plateau and the water is sourced from Tamsa or Tons river.

There is an interesting story behind the construction of the most prominent fort of Rewa. According to the folklore, construction of the fort was first started by Salim Shah, the son of Sher Shah Suri but was left incomplete. Later on, when Maharaja Vikramaditya arrived Rewa, he decided to take up the work of completing the construction of Rewa fort.

It was finally finished by him and King Bhav Singh Ju Deo installed the Mahamrityunjaya Temple inside the fort. Govindgarh Palace was a summer retreat to the King of Rewa as it is surrounded by some enchanting waterfalls in the area like Keonti, Chachai, and Bahuti. The construction dates back to the year 1882 AD, and this palace is a work of the Baghela Dynasty.

Venkat Bhavan is one of the matchless places to visit in Rewa, which is famous for its unique Saracenic style of architecture. This masterpiece was built by Maharaja Venkatraman Singh, and the construction was completed in the year 1907. The purpose of building this Bhavan was to provide employment to people during the famine period of 1894. 

On your visit to this temple, look out for the stunning carvings of Lord Shiva and Parvati on the walls and the secret tunnel that once used to serve the Kings during wars. Baghel Museum treasures the past of Rewa, especially the generations of Kings in Rewa. You will find an assorted collection of their clothes, the personal belongings like perfume bottles, gifts from the Chinese, chandeliers, old clocks, portraits, paintings, jewelry; along with the military weapons and hunting weapons such as spears, swords, guns, and the stuffed first white tiger, Mohan.
