Overview

Trip Location: Calgary

- The Canadian Rockies happens to be a mountain range that spans across the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. You can find jagged rocks, ice-capped peaks and towering Mount Robson in this place along with alpine lakes and diverse wildlife. This place can also be characterised by a wonderful recreational spot that you can visit with your loved ones.

- The tour starts with your arrival at Calgary, the gateway to the Canadian Rockies. You can settle down in your room and spend some time in relaxation.

- On the next day of the tour, you will be spending time at the Banff National Park. You can visit Cascade Mountain, Mt. Rundle, Bow Falls, and the surreal, nature beaten Hoodoos rock formations.

- On day three of the tour, you will be exploring the national park at your leisure. You can think of taking part in the helicopter flightseeing tour or ride up to the top of the Sulphur Mountain. You can also choose to take part in the Royal Canadian Tour, Three Sisters Peak Tour, and Brewster Banff Gondola.

- On the fourth day of the tour, you will be visiting the Athabasca Glacier. You will get to see Peyto Lake and Columbia Icefield.

- On the day 5 of the tour, you will visit Jasper National Park. You can take part in some gentle float trip on the scenic Athabasca River, to a wilderness hike to view the glacier on Mount Edith Cavell, or take a scenic cruise on Maligne Lake. You can also choose to take pae in  Jasper Float Trip, Mount Edith Cavell Guided Walk, and Maligne Lake Boat Cruise.

- On day 6 of the tour, you will be continuing your tour through Jasper National Park. You can see the glimpse of Mount Robson in the North American Rockies and end your journey in Kamloops.

- On day 7 of the tour, you will be passing through the charming town of Hope and then board a ferry for victoria. You can enjoy the wonderful sights of the islands and waterfront. You will also get to see the parliament buildings, beacon hill park, and government street.

- On day 8 of the tour, you will be having breakfast at world-famous Butchart Gardens in the Blue Poppy Restaurant and then spending the day at leisure. You can also choose to head out for victoria whale watching.

- On the next day of the trip, you will be travelling to Vancouver to see Gastown. You will also get to see Chinatown and Stanley Park. You can choose to go for the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Cliff House Farewell Dinner.

- On the next day of the trip, you can depart from Vancouver and get dropped at the Canada Place where you can board the ms Volendam. You will pass through the spectacular Lion’s Gate suspension bridge.

- On the next day of the trip, you will spend time inside the sea on the cruise. You will get to sight wonderful scenic beauty as well as some tumbling turquoise glaciers, and evocative towns loaded with history, culture and adventure.

- On the next day of the trip, you will visit Juneau. You can marvel at the waterfalls and melting snowcaps in the middle of the forest covers.

- On the next day of the trip, you will be visiting Skagway, which happens to be the largest city in Alaska. You will get to ride the antique White Pass and Yukon narrow-gauge railway and spend time at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

- On the next day of the tour, you will be visiting Glacier Bay, which is a UNESCO world heritage site.

- On the 15th day of the trip, you will be visiting Ketchikan. You will be visiting Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village, Fjords National Monument.

- On the 16th day of the trip, you can soak in the crisp air and wonderful scenery on the last day at sea.

- On the last day of the tour, you can depart the cruise ship and head out to the airport for your flight back home. 

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Calgary

    Upon your arrival in Calgary, our representative will receive you from the airport and will assist you to the pre-booked hotel.

    Complete the check-in formalities and head to your room for unwinding.

    In the evening, once you feel energized, you can head out to explore the city on your own.

    Explore this wonderful cowboy town with its unsurmountable scenic beauty including gigantic mountains, lush green forests and national parks with diverse flora and fauna.

    Visit the historic places and leap into the heritage era!

    Later, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2 - Trip to Banff National Park

    After having a Country style breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Banff for the next stop of your journey.

    After reaching Banff, you will be taken for a short sightseeing tour to explore the natural wonders of this place.

    You will be visiting the Cascade Mountain, Mt. Rundle, Bow Falls and the Hoodoo rock formations.

    Later, you will be taken to the hotel. Check-in and have an overnight stay in Banff.

  • Day 3 - Exploring Banff National Park

    Enjoy a toothsome breakfast in the morning and feel free to spend this day at leisure.

    You can go for an optional helicopter ride to witness the aerial view of this breath-taking scenery surrounded with turquoise glacier lakes, snow-capped mountains and far stretched lush greenery.

    You can take a gondola cable car ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain or go for a trek into the forest and witness lake Louise and Moraine Lake.

    After exploring the landscape of Banff National park, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 4 - Trip to Jasper National Park

    After having a delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and start your journey to Jasper National park.

    Eroute, visit the morning views of Lake Louise and proceed to reach the ‘Jewel of the Rockies’.

    After reaching the Columbia icefields , ride the Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier and witness the views of Jasper.

    After the tour, check-in at the hotel and have an overnight stay.

  • Day 5 - Leisure Day in Jasper

    After having breakfast, you can spend the day exploring Jasper on your own.

    Leap into the magical beauty of this natural paradise and try various optional activities such as a float trip from the Athabasca River to Mount Edith Cavell, or a scenic cruise on Maligne Lake.

    You can also take a hike through the depths of the forest and spend some leisure hours in the nature reserve.

    Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 6 - Jasper National Park & Sun Peaks Transfers

    Start your day with a hearty breakfast and get ready for a tour of Jasper National Park.

    Experience the rustic charms of this national park, the largest national park of Canadian Rockies which is a abode to 53 mammal species, such as the black and grizzly bears, cougar and lynx, coyote and wolf, wolverine, bighorn sheep, moose, and elk.

    In the evening, witness the golden hue surrounding the mesmerizing landscape of Jasper and start your journey to Sun peaks.

    After reaching, check-in at the hotel and have an overnight stay.

  • Day 7 - Trip to Victoria

    Wake up early and enjoy a scenic drive to the coast to board a ferry for Vancouver Island.

    As the ferry docks at Swartz Bay, deboard and take a short drive into Victoria.

    Witness the prominent landmarks of Victoria such as Parliament Buildings, Government Street and Beacon Hill Park with a short sightseeing tour.

    After the tour, get dropped off at the hotel. Check-in and spend the rest of the day on your own.

    In the evening, feel free to take a walk in this victorian town to explore nearby places.

    Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 8 - Leisure Day in Victoria

    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Butchart Gardens in the Blue Poppy Restaurant famous for its conservatory atmosphere and floral display gardens in Brentwood Bay.

    Experience autumn like never before and capture the picturesque view of this dreamy landscape.

    After breakfast, you can explore the tourist attractions of Victoria on your own.

    Later, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 9 - Victoria to Vancouver Transfers

    After having breakfast, check-out from the hotel and board a ferry to reach Vancouver island.

    After reaching, you will be taken for a short sightseeing tour to explore the scenic vistas surrounding the island.

    Today, you will be visiting the historic Gastown, Chinatown and the green jewel in the city’s crown, and the Stanley Park.

    You can also go for an optional tour of Capilano Suspension Bridge stretched across the Capilano River or you can take a food tour to savour the diverse taste of Culinary delights.

    After the tour, check-in at the hotel and have an overnight stay.

  • Day 10 - Embarking the Cruise

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Canada’s Place Cruise Terminal.

    Upon arrival, board the MS volendam cruise to start your adventurous voyage. The Alaska Cruise sails at 04:30 pm.

    Check-into your cabin and after settling in, head to the deck and enjoy the views as the ship sails into the ocean.

    Have an overnight stay onboard.

  • Day 11 - Inside Passage, Alaska

    Wake up to the gushing waves and enjoy a buffet breakfast onboard.

    Today, the cruise will sail through the Inside passage of Alaska, a network of waterways starting from Washington State's Puget Sound up to the Pacific coast of British Columbia and reaching to the Alaska panhandle.

    Witness the jaw-dropping landscape of Alaska Sea lanes surrounded with towering mountains and turquoise waters.

    Spend a leisure day onboard and enjoy a luscious lunch.

    Have dinner and an overnight stay in the cabin.

  • Day 12 - Crossing Juneau

    Today the cruise will be passing through Tracy Arm Fjord dodging through the Tongass National Forest.

    Witness the white creamy waterfalls on the shoreline with trees and rock formations appearing from the surface.

    You will get to see the Sawyer Glaciers, home to the black and brown bears, wolves, deer and moose.

    Enjoy a delicious lunch in the restaurant and relax on the deck while witnessing the views of this icy fjord.

  • Day 13 - Stop at Skagway

    Start your day with a healthy breakfast and get ready to explore Skagway, “the gateway to the Klondike”.

    As the ship docks, head out to explore this historic district from the gold rush era.

    You can ride the antique White Pass and Yukon narrow-gauge railway, an engineering marvel that beats the tough weather and geographical anomalies.

    Board the train and witness the mesmerizing panorama of mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, tunnels and trestles.

    You can also visit the Red Onion Saloon or take a tour of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

    After the tour, hop on the cruise and have dinner onboard.

    Get back to the cabin and retire for the night.

  • Day 14 - Glacier Bay Excursion

    After having breakfast, be prepared for an excursion to Glacier Bay, a UNESCO world heritage site stretched in 3.3 millions acres of rainforests, mountains, dynamic glaciers and fjords.

    This protected site is world renowned for its significant glacier retreat due to its active calving tidewater glaciers.

    Here you may witness the breaking of ice chunks and crashing into the ocean resulting in a water shoot of hundred meters.

    Have dinner and an overnight stay onboard.

  • Day 15 - Halt at Ketchikan

    Relish an english breakfast on board and get ready to explore Ketchikan, “the Salmon Capital of the World”.

    This quaint town is situated on the shores of the Tongass Narrows and is spotted with small shops and colourful houses.

    Here you will be visiting the Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village and later you can go for an optional flightseeing tour of Misty Fjords National Park.

    Have dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise.

  • Day 16 - Circle Back to Inside Passage

    Wake up in the morning and have breakfast, embrace the wildlife filled fjords and glacier sealanes of Inside Edge and spend your last day on the ship leisurely.

    You can indulge in various activities offered by the cruise or get sun-tanned by the lounge.

    Enjoy an appetizing lunch onboard and bid farewell to the fellow travellers.

    Have dinner and an overnight stay in the cabin.

  • Day 17 - Departure

    After having breakfast, pack your bags and disembark the cruise as it docks at Vancouver port.

    Get transferred to the airport for your flight back home.

    The tour we had was reasonable and succeeded. The experience with Thrillophilia was truly awesome, the agents who help us from the beginning of the trip was always available for us during off business hours to assist & guide us... All the 17 days being in Canada but still, the trip was no delay in travel and they maintained the time and they were well-organized and deal it very professionally... The accommodation was absolutely a good one. All that has been mentioned in the itinerary we get it all... Every attraction of the place really amazed us by its manmade beauty and its natural beauty... The picked-up and dropped were always on time, the driver and the guide were very informative, kind, and very helpful too... From the start till the end, we had great communication with the whole team which we were always succeded in each and every single tour program we had... All pieces of information about the tours and important things were informed in advance... Really Thrillophilia did a very great job in planning and executing the trip which truly worth everything we invested in it... This trip and Thrillophilia deserved a 10/10 scored... Kudos Team...
