Ladakh Sightseeing Tour

Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Arrival in Leh

  Fly to Leh from Delhi in the morning.

  Check in and explore the location and take rest.

  Post lunch, the day is at your own leisure.

  Enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants in Leh Market.

• Day 2 -

  Post breakfast, get a drive to the Hall of Fame, War Memorial.

  Have lunch at a restaurant in Leh Market.

  Later, head to visit Shanti Stupa in the evening, then it is Barracks & Trenches Evening followed by dinner.

• Day 3 -

  Early morning start with packed breakfast.

  Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (17582 ft).

  Halt at Khardung La to enjoy the sightseeing and then get a drive to Diskit.

  Visit Diskit Monastery and Maitreyu Buddha.

  Post lunch, check in to your accommodation.

  Following which you will head to Hunder for camel ride and dune biking for a couple of hours.

  Afterwards drive to Sumur to visit Samstening Gompa and the village.

  Night stay at Diskit.

• Day 4 -

  After breakfast, drive to Turtuk.

  Marvel at the beauty of the scenic village.

  Also, visit the Royal House of the Yagbo dynasty which represent the ruins of Pun Khar.

  Have lunch at the local restaurant and drive back to Diskit along the beautiful Shyok.

  The highest landing ground at Thoise will be visible during the journey.

  Get back to Diskit and enjoy bonfire and a barbecue night.

• Day 5 -

  Early start from Diskit to Pangong Tso along the Shyok river.

  Reach Pangong Tso, check in and have lunch.

  Explore Pangong Tso.

  Enjoy the night stay in Pangong Tso.

• Day 6 -

  Have breakfast and start for Tso Moriri.

  On the way, stop at Chushul and Rezang La War Memorial.

  Once you arrive at Karzok and stay overnight there.

• Day 7 -

  Spend some time in Tso Moriri.

  Explore the beautiful region near the lake and be relaxed.

• Day 8 -

  Start early from Tso Moriri via Tso Kar and Tanglang La Pass (17480 ft) to Leh.

  Take your lunch at Leh.

  Relax in the afternoon and explore the majestic town in the evening.

  Enjoy the crowd in the market and do some shopping as well.

  Sit back and indulge in a musical evening at Eclectic Kitchen.

• Day 9 -

  Start early to Kargil today.

  En route, you will have your breakfast.

  Upon arrival in Kargil, head out to visit the War Memorial.

  Post lunch, you will be taken to Drass where the Drass War Memorial, the War Museum etc can be witnessed.

  Opt to stay in Kargil or Drass tonight.

• Day 10 -

  Leave Kargil/Dras and visit Lamayuru Monastery en route.

  Enjoy lunch at Lamayuru.

  There would be an option of stopping at Alchi Monastery/Dam.

  Once you arrive in Leh, have dinner and retire for the night.

• Day 11 -

  Depart from Leh.
