Lying in the foot of Aravalis this fort homestay is a 500 years old ancient fort converted into a comfortable homestay. This magnificent fort was built in the 16th century by Maharaja Rao SagatSingh Ji Kharwa and standing on the shores of a lake, this fort is now occupied by the families who have been living here for generations. At this homestay, a royal yet comfortable and homely stay in one bedroom with traditional Rajasthani food is assured. Open spaces, stone-clad exteriors, beautiful windows and arches, courtyards, galleries, richly decorated walls, and the overall view of the village from the fort are marvellous. Within the walls of this magnificent fort lie great history and two temples where widely known festivals such as Holi and Diwali are celebrated along with traditional festivals like Gangore and Janmashtami which add to the colours of the Indian heritage.

A guide will take the guests for a village safari with the host. Dive into the village to explore more about the culture as well as the personal interaction with the villagers. The host also offers jeep safari for guests to the unexplored places of the village around. There is a potter's house where a pottery session can be arranged for guests where they can try shaping some sculptures. The host owns a farm in the village. Guests can enjoy a special barbeque treat at the farm with the organic farm produce. 

The stay offers a lot of things to do away from the pollution and the noise of the cities at this calm and peaceful stay. Guests can take a nature walk around the fort and explore small beautiful temples. Finally, in the night guests can enjoy a candlelight dinner with the home-cooked delicious meals while enjoying the ambience. This fort offers royal Rajput hospitality, personally overseen by the family; must for people looking for a calm and peaceful environment to relax their souls.

How to reach:
The homestay is around 37 km from Ajmer city. A personal car/cab would be the best mode of transportation to reach the stay.
