About Malana:

Isolated from the rest of the world lies a solitary village in Malana. Widely known for its strong culture and religious beliefs, with various sentiments embedded in the past, it is a place meant for people who seek spiritual guidance. This place is also apt for all adventure lovers since the route to Malana is famous for trekking.

About the Trek: 

Overlooked by Chandrakhani and Deo Tibba Peaks, Malana is a quaint little hamlet located in the dreamy surroundings in the Parvati Valley. The 5 km trek from Malana Taxi stand to the village tucked at 10000 feet is one of the engrossing day treks you would ever take. Walking the Malana Trek one can’t escape the perfect nature setting around. The raw appeal of the vast valley, the snappy appearance of the Malanese passing by, and the fragrance of flowers instilled in the air around makes this trek special one.

About Camping:

At Kasol, Well maintained tents are provided for stay, each having beds, seating area and electric socket. For a comfortable stay you will be offered mattresses on beds, pillows and clean linen. The campsite is equipped with all the basic amenities like restaurant, electrical sockets in the tents, power backup, housekeeping, room service, free parking etc. In the evening you can also enjoy the musical night with a bonfire.

How to reach the campsite?

The campsite in Kasol is around 30 km away from Bhuntar. Either public or private transportation can be availed to reach the location. Parking space for private vehicles is available.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrive at Kasol | Trek to Chalal | Riverside Camping

    You will arrive at the designated point at the appointed time. Check into the campsite by the riverside

    After this, enjoy your trek to Chalal, the Little Amsterdam

    Enjoy the charm of the city by the river Parvati and spend some time here in the quaint and quiet city before making your way back to campsite

    Sing and dance around the bonfire in the evening before taking your dinner and sleeping overnight in the camps by the river

  • Day 2 - Malana Trek and Camping

    Wake up and get an early breakfast.

    Head for the Malana Trek. Enjoy some beautiful scenic views on through your way to the trek.

    Go through a historical forest there and get to know about the history and people of the place.

    Come back to the campsite trekking in Kasol. Enjoy the musical night and bonfire.

    Dinner and Overnight stay in the camps.

  • Day 3 - Check Out From The Mountains

    Wake up in the morning, get freshened and energized with a breakfast in the camp.
