Overview

Famous for its tea plantations, Munnar is a place where nature shows how green it can be. And your trip to this heaven cannot be complete without a visit to the tea plantations. And not even just visit, this tour offers you detailed insights of tea farming and processing.

About the tour
The tour offers various activities which all revolve around the taste of tea. You will be trekking to reach the tea farms up top the hills, where you will be greeted with traditional welcome drinks. You will be given insights on tea farming, how the seeds are cultivated to be full grown tea plants. You can even pluck tea leaves on your own!
Some refreshments will be served before you head to visit the tea factory. You can work inside the tea factory with the locals and learn how the tea plants are converted into delicious aromatic tea. The tour will end with a tea tasting program in which you will get a once in a lifetime opportunity of tasting various types of tea including white, green and black.

How to reach?
You will have to come to the starting location of the tour which will be shared with you as you make a booking. The location would not be very far from the city and could be easily reached by public or private transport.
