The mountain retreat is offbeat stays which aggregate unique, homestays, resorts and retreats in Sikkim & NorthEast India. It is a continuous and ongoing effort to provide an enriching and beautiful experience to our guests who come to Sikkim and help them experience Sikkim’s unique natural beauty and culture. The homestay features one room and a balcony with beautiful mountain views. The entire architecture of the homestay is based on traditional Sikkimese way of living. From rooms to the kitchen, everything is made in such a way, that it provides you with an authentic feel of Sikkemeese culture.

One can enjoy a cup of tea in the beautiful garden while enjoying clouds move over them. The homestay offers a vegetarian or vegan food, directly sourced from the farm nearby. One can relax watching the sunset while taking a walk in the farm while consuming the local drink or experience bird watching of some unique species. Outdoor enthusiasts can also take a small trek near the village to see the spectacular views of the mountains. Indulge in village tour, enjoy traditional folk dance and music, understand Buddhist religion and teachings or simply share meals with a Sikkimese family. Later enjoy authentic local cuisine at night with stargazing and bonfire.

How to reach the stay:
It is 74 km from the Paro airport. Public and private transport facilities are available as per customer preferences.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees

If cancellations are made 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days

All applicable refunds will be done in traveller's thrillophilia wallet as Thrillcash

Booking Confirmation Policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
