About the Activity: 

  • Start your tour by getting picked up from your hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai.
  • Drive up north for 1 hour and reach the famous elephant camp at Tung La Korn village for an amazing experience.
  • You will be given a change of clothes because things might get messy. Your guide will brief you on the behavior of these magnificent creatures and you’ll learn how to take care of them and witness their daily lifestyle.
  • Your guide will then show you how to get on, control and feed these elephants after which you can bathe them in the nearby river.
  • Plant sugar cane plants the staple diet for these elephants and indulge in a lovely lunch after.
  • Experience bamboo rafting in the Mae Tang River for about 1 hour before driving back to Chaing Mai at around 5:30 PM.
