Cultural Walk Tour Of Mussoorie

Mussoorie is a beautiful city with a hidden charm of colonial architecture.Experience the beauty of this old town on this walking tour with a storyteller. Our storyteller will recreate the era by his words and expressions and one can actually relate it to old times.

This walking tour shall give a great introduction of the old town's history, the cultural shift that town went through and wonderful stories of every place where one put his foot.The highlight of the tour is the inclusion of places, tips, and stories that one cannot find on the internet otherwise.By the the end of the tour one can develop a great perspective of Mussoorie and will remember about the town in a different manner that before. After compilation of the tour one shall not be just leaving by lot of insight of the place but also with a small souvenir received from the team.

The tour would be for 2 hours one can select from the morning or evening slot and will start from St. Paul’s Church which is at a distance of 2.5KM from the famous mall road of Mussoorie. And complete the walking tour at Char Dukaan area.

Attractions to be covered:

St. Paul’s Church- It is framed by pines, and the mountain sun that filters through stained-glass windows. The church marks one of the old establishments as it dates back to british era.

Kellogg’s Memorial church- This grey stoned building has seen the landour language school where british were taught Hindi.

Sister Bazar- It includes a neat row of half a dozen shops,a residential colony with old cottages, a divine area, lined up with pines, oaks and deodars.

Prakash store- It is famous for its fresh preserve made from locally grown fruits. Also popular for its delicious stock of cheese, jams, peanut butter and candy. 

Vintage English style Bakery- This walk through the British Cantonment, colonial-era churches, small shops and a 19th-century cottage made out of bricks and stones surrounded by majestic deodars along with its red rhododendron flowers.
