Itinerary

• Day 1 - Delhi-Manali.- Over night in a Volvo bus.

  Arrive at Delhi Volvo station at 04 PM and board the bus for Manali.

  Stay overnight in Volvo bus.

• Day 2 - Manali

  Today you will get the chance to explore the local area.

  Visit the Solang Valley and Naggar Castle.

  There is a chance to visit the Nicholas Roerich museum and then visit some Hindu temples and see the Vashisht Hot Springs.

  Stay overnight at your hotel.

• Day 3 - Manali - Banjar Valley

  Proceed to south towards Banjar Valley to Soja (2683 mts).

  From Manali, take a trip till Bhuntar where you will take a left turn to Parvati Valley, follow Parvati river to reach Manikaran (the temple complex with hot springs), have lunch and go back to Bhuntar.

  There you will get to enjoy the mesmerising beauty of Banjar Valley.

  Finally you will reach Soja village (6km from Bajar) and stay overnight there.

• Day 4 - Banjar – Sarahan over Jalori Pass

  Aim to arrive in Sarahan by mid afternoon and then head out to enjoy a tour of the Bhimakali temple.

  This temple is a sacred temple of the Hindus and is an architectural marvel.

  It is believed to be at least 800 years old.

• Day 5 - Sarahan - Kalpa

  Today is a well deserved rest day for the man and the machine. It is essential at this altitude to acclimatize.

• Day 6 - Kalpa - Nako

  Kalpa has numerous temples around it and you will stay in a comfortable hotel and enjoy the views.

  Naco is a small village in Kinnaur at an altitude of 3663 meters. Lake Nako in the centre of the village, formed out of the masses of ice and snow is a highlight of the Naco.

  There is a famous monastic complex at its western edge.

• Day 7 - Tabo to Pin Valley

  In the morning, visit the Ajantas of Himalayas, the oldest caves on the barren mountains of Tabo and enjoy the Thanka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism.

  Later drive to Pin Valley and visit Kungri Gompa, where Kal Chakra was scheduled in 2004.

  In the evening, get a drive to the largest village of the Spiti Sagnam.

  Stay overnight at the camp at Sagnam.

• Day 8 - Pin Valley to Kaza

  Today, you will go to Kaza. In the morning, go visit Tabo Monastery.

  Following that, head to Kaza and en route visit Dankar Gompa and Lalung Monastery as well.

  The rock cut monasteries are a surprise architectural brilliance.

  Once you reach Kaza, check in to the guest house and relax.

• Day 9 - In Kaza- day excursion to Key monastery, Langza, Komic, Hikkim villages.

  In the morning, visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. T

  his centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time it served the purpose of a fort as well.

  It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area.

  Also visit the permanently inhabited village of the region Komic and Hikkim villages.

  Stay overnight at hotel.

• Day 10 - Kaza/ Chandra Tall (100 kms / 5 hrs)

  Travel from Kaza to Chandrataal and en route, cross over Kunzam Pass providing beautiful views of CB ranges.

  On arrival at Chandratall, check in at the camp.

  In the evening, walk till lake and explore beautiful lake of Moon.

  Stay overnight at camp.

• Day 11 - Chandra Taal/ Manali (120 kms/ 7 hrs)

  Travel from Chandrataal to Manali riding over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) which offers fine views of glaciers and snow, capped peaks.

  In the evening, you will be transferred to Manali Volvo stand to board Volvo bus for Delhi.

  Take an overnight journey to Delhi.

• Day 12 - Arrive Delhi

  In the morning, you will arrive in Delhi where the tour ends.
