Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Delhi to Manali

  Depart from Delhi in a Volvo Bus and arrive at Manali after an overnight journey.

• Day 2 -

  Arrival at Manali

  In the morning, after you reach Manali, then the day is at your disposal. Spend it as you wish to.

  Discover the hidden gems of the locality and be amused at the beauty the region keeps as a treasure.

• Day 3 -

  Manali to Jispa

  Start your bike ride to Jispa from Manali. Jispa is a tiny village in Lahaul District.

  The village is located 20 km north of Keylong and 7 km south of Darcha, along the Manali-Leh Highway also called the Himalayan highway and the Bhaga river.

  You will pass almost 20 villages on your journey from Manali to Jispa.

  Pass the Beas Nalla, the palace before you find the Rohtang Pass. Witness the Beas river flows and forms a stream and gorge and continue to Marhi, a shanty town of roadside restaurants.

• Day 4 -

  Jispa to Sarchu

  Post breakfast, begin your journey to Baralacha Pass. It is the high mountain pass in Zanskar range that connects Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir.

  On the way, you will come across Darcha, a small village on the banks of Bhaga River.

  Post this, head to Sarchu where you stay tonight.

  It is at an altitude of 4,290 m and towards its south lies Baralacha Pass and to the north lies Lachulung La.

  Settle down in your tents tonight.

• Day 5 -

  Sarchu to Leh

  Today, you are going to Leh covering approximately 260 KM. Leh, as everyone knows, is a high altitude desert city in the Himalayan ranges.

  Wonder at the multiple number of Buddhist monasteries, ruined palaces and the historical samples Leh provides.

  En route, you will be crossing Naki mountain ranges as well that are situated between Gurla Dhar and Handi Got and also cross over Lahera Dhar, Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La pass (5300 m).

  Enter the Indus valley from the Zanskar valley.

  Located at an elevation of 6000m, Zanskar is the wild and untamed valley of the clouds.

  Stay overnight in Leh.

• Day 6 -

  Leh - Khardungla - Nubra Valley

  Enjoy your breakfast and move to hit the mighty roads that lengthen up to Khardung La which is the highest motorable pass in the world.

  Spend a quality time at the pass, mesmerising the landscapes and the wonders of nature.

  Continue towards Nubra Valley, a strikingly beautiful, secluded valley hushed by the Himalayan peaks and a crystal clear fresh water lake.

  Explore the valley on the back of a two-humped camel which would be a rare scene and lose yourself in the enchanting world of the Himalayas.

• Day 7 -

  Nubra Valley to Leh

  Today, you will return to Leh through the same route.

  Stay overnight in Leh.

• Day 8 -

  Leh to Pangong Lake to Leh

  Have an early breakfast and gear up to capture the enthralling glimpses of Pangong Tso, the largest high altitude lake in the region.

  Situated near the Chang-la pass, the beauty of the lake is breathtaking and mesmerizing.

  Get amused by the rare phenomena of changing colours possessed by the lake.

  Explore the nearby locations and by evening, get back to Leh to stay overnight.

• Day 9 -

  Leh to Tso Kar Lake

  Today, in the morning, proceed to Tso Kar, yer another enticing lake famous for its size and depth.

  The salty watered lake is situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh.

  Stay overnight near Tso Kar.

• Day 10 -

  Tso Kar Lake to Jispa

  Drive back to Jispa from Tso Kar where you stay overnight.

• Day 11 -

  Jispa to Manali

  Arrive at Manali and after exploring the locality, board you Volvo bus to Delhi.
