Hampi Trek Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Bangalore to Hampi

    Start your Hampi Trekking tour after getting picked up 08:15 PM from Bank of Baroda, Koramangala, at 09:00 PM from New Shanti Nagar hotel, or at 09:30 PM from Hard rock café, MG road and head out for your trip.

    Enjoy the overnight journey to Hampi in which you would have an informal introduction and have fun.

    It is advised that you take some light dinner beforehand since this is an overnight journey to Hampi.

  • Day 2 - Hampi and Trekking

    Around 06:00 AM, you will reach the camp-site at Hippie Island from where you will start your Hampi trekking.

    Freshen-up and have breakfast.

    Start your trek to Hampi waterfalls after crossing Tungabhadra River, between two islands of Hampi via a ferry ride.

    The trek would start through the back of the village towards the paddy field on the side of Tungabhadra River. Walking through the uneven surface of the bank, you would enter the banana farm. Afterward, you will trek through the boulders and cross the river.

    You will then move towards Virupaksha Temple, followed by a trip to the Vijay Vittala Temple through the Sugreeva Caves.

    Following this, you will trek to the banks of the river from there you would take a coracle ride to the other side of the bank.

    Hike to Anjaneya Hills for sunset views of the area before descending down and returning to the campsite in the bus after sunset.

    Freshen up and explore the Island by yourself in your leisure time.

    There are many local places where you can hop from one place to another enjoying live music, jamming, and local cuisine.

  • Day 3 - Bouldering and Departure

    After getting up early, freshen up and gear up for bouldering.

    Bouldering would be a lot of fun but also a little challenging for first timers, so it is very much required to follow the expert’s advice and guidelines.

    After the bouldering, you would be leaving for covering historical monuments like underground Siva temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Ranga temple, Puskarni and Queen’s bath.

    Return back to the campsite and freshen up for your return journey back to Bangalore.

    As you reach Bangalore in the late hours of the evening, the experience of Hampi trekking will come to an end.

You may select the location out of these three as per your convenience. The first pickup is scheduled around 7:30 PM near Baroda Bank at Koramangala Water Tank. Opp. Mr. Beans – Home Cafe.

      The second pickup is around 08:00 PM from New Shanti Sagar Hotel in HAL Road, Near Domlur Bridge. The last pickup is around 9:00 PM, from MG Road, Hard Rock Cafe near Anil Kumble Signal, which marks the beginning of your Hampi Trekking. You will be dropped in the same location after the trek.
