In ancient times it was a gateway of "Vihar" to visit Gaya, Rajgir, and Nalanda area and during prehistoric period Lord Buddha has passed through this way to be enlightened with verity & wisdom under Mahabodhi tree in Gaya.

This Patna sightseeing tour covers all these brilliant architectural and historical sites in just one day. Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Raipur and Local Sightseeing

    Meet the representative at a pre-decided spot in Raipur where he will give you a quick overview of the tour.

    He will also be helping you with the smooth transfer to the hotel where you can take some rest.

    Embark on a local sightseeing tour to Nandan Van Zoo, Doodhadhari Monastery and Temple, Kevalya Dham Jain Temple, Ghatarani Waterfall.

    Overnight stay at the hotel in Raipur.

  • Day 2 - Raipur - Ambikapur

    Enjoy early morning breakfast before leaving from Raipur.

    Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Ambikapur.

    On the way take a stopover for lunch.

    Later in the evening reach Ambikapur and check in to the hotel overnight stay.

  • Day 3 - Ambikapur - Sasaram

    After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, check out from the hotel.

    Pack your bags and proceed towards Sasaram.

    On the way stopover for lunch.

    Later, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay in Sasaram.

  • Day 4 - Sasaram - Patna

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head out for a sightseeing tour of Sasaram.

    Visit Sher Shah Suri Mausoleum situated in the middle of a tank which is the finest example of Pathan Architecture in India.

    There are other tombs related to Hasan Khan Suri, the Father Of Emperor Sher Shah, Salim Shah Tomb (Sher Shah Son) and Alawal Khan Tomb.

    You will then drive to Patna and check in to the hotel.

    The rest of the day is at leisure, you can choose to explore Patna on your own or take some rest at the hotel.

  • Day 5 - Patna Local Sightseeing

    After breakfast, head out for a sightseeing tour of Patna.

    Visit Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya , Golghar, Patna Museum, ISKCON Temple, Patan Devi Temple, Agam Kuan, Phulwari Sharif.

    There are also a few parks to visit like Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Buddha Smriti Park.

    Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Patna.

  • Day 6 - Excursion to Darbhanga and Departure

    In the morning after breakfast proceed towards Darbhanga.

    On reaching Darbhanga, visit the Darbhanga Royal palaces, Shyama temple, Manokamna temple and Ahilya Asthan.

    Later in the evening drive back to Patna.

    From here you will be transferred back to Raipur.

    Once you reach Raipur it marks the end of the tour.
