About the space and location:

Nestled amidst greenery, valley and the mountains, this homestay offers breathtaking views from across the Beas River. About 50 years old, this homestay is almost entirely made of wood in an old Himachali style construction, best suited for a perfect mountain stay. The unpredictable mountain weather has added to its rustic and aesthetically old-worldly charm. in the way it looks. The rooms here offer views of the forest and the fruit orchards and will tempt you to head out and explore the walking trails into the forest right behind the stay.

The porch here is the perfect place to unwind or relax. Settle here in one of the chairs and enjoy the lush greenery that surrounds the house and gaze at the 360-degree view of the mountain ranges beyond the beautiful valley.

About the rooms:
Wake up to the sound of the running water in the stream behind and the Himalayan sparrows who peck at the window glass of the room every morning. The stay offers a cosy bedroom that can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Furnished with a double bed, cupboards, lamps, carpets and more, it has a wooden ceiling and floor that keep the room warm, even during cold winters. Since this is a wooden house made in traditional Himachali style, there is only one bathroom on the ground floor.

About meals:
You can order breakfast, lunch and dinner on an a-la-carte basis at an additional cost. Enjoy a farm to feast setup since all the meals are cooked using locally grown produce which means you get fresh and nutritious meals, each time. You can also cook your own meals in the kitchen (ration cost as per actuals).

About activities:
- Head out for an exclusive guided Dhoongri - Kanyal village hike and explore the rich culture here
- Go for a leisure forest walk and enjoy looking out at the unique flora and fauna here
- As the sun sets, enjoy the starry sky with a warm, cosy bonfire

Suggested activities:
- Visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, and more
- Tie your shoelaces and head on the trails to Bada Pathar, Lamadug, or to Khanpari Tibba peak for some trekking
- Head out to the Solang Valley for some adventure sports like paragliding
- Check out the Rohtang La Pass

About access to common areas:
Guests have access to the entire property as well as the outdoors

About safety and hygiene:
- The retreat has increased the frequency of cleaning public areas (including the lobby, doorknobs, common washrooms, etc.)
- Hand gloves being used when carrying out cleaning work and when handling waste
- The rooms and the entire stay is deep cleaned before every check-in and post every check-out
- There are antibacterial hand sanitizers available throughout the property

About accessibility:
The stay is around a KM from Old Manali and around 3 KM from the Manali Bus stand. It can be easily reached using any public/private transportation.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
