Factual Information:
Experience living in a 16th-century fortress that has witnessed the coronation of Mewar’s gallant warrior king! Gogunda Palace has attained historical significance due to the many events that preceded and succeeded the crowning of Kunwar Pratap Singh as Maharana or King, in 1572. While much has changed since, the palace has been restored with the finer details of craftsmanship that showcase its original splendor. Here, traditional grandeur blends effortlessly with modern day conveniences.

The ‘Hathi Pol’ or elephant gate at the reception welcomes guests and guides them to the air-conditioned rooms and suites fully equipped with modern amenities and comfort of royalty.

The historical importance and tales surrounding the palace made the stay twice as much fun and interesting.     Staying at Gogunda Fort was something I looked forward to from a long time. Finally, this trip felt like a dream. All the facilities offered were amazing and I will look forward to enjoy trips like this with Thrillophilia again in the future

    Thanks to Thrillophlia for making our holiday so easy and carefree. We didn’t have to worry about the booking process at all, and were able to find the place easily through the guidance of the agent, Tanvi. Though we had no problems with the rooms, we feel that they could have included one more meal as a part of the package.

    An excellent example of Rajasthani craftmanship. Our welcome was done in a traditional way by Hathi Pol that carried us to the main entrance of the palace. Even though it is centuries old, the palace looks completely brand new because of the regular restoration.
