Itinerary

  • Day 1 -  Udaipur

    After an ecstatic stay in the City of Lakes, the tour will come to an end with your departure from Udaipur.

  • Day 2 - Jaipur

    Amer fort, city palace

    Visit various parts of the first planned city in India, Jaipur that highlights the ancient architecture in the best form. Walk through the broader lanes, visit the colourful markets and study the layout of this magnificent city. Visit City Palace and Amber Fort and unfold their beauty. While returning to the hotel, indulge yourself in shopping at the fair trade shops.  Overnight stay in Jaipur.

  • Day 3 -  Jaipur - Nawalgarh(2.5 hours - 145km approx by road)

    Arts and artisans

    After having breakfast in Jaipur hotel, our associates will take you towards Nawalgarh, which is a part of Shekhawati region. This journey will take around 4 hours and will pass through semi-arid landscapes of Rajasthan. A walk through the village will offer you the best picture of the culture and fresco of this place. Get acquainted with the local people and explore their colourful lives.

  • Day 4 - Nawalgarh

    Bangle making

    While you will be in Nawalgarh, you can make yourself colourful bangles and learn the art of making tie and dye. Keep yourself engaged in these workshops for the entire day. You can also buy the colourful bangles and other handcraft materials directly from the artists.

  • Day 5 -  Nawalgarh - Khimsar(4 hours - 250 km approx by road)

    Havelis with extensive carvings

    A 4 hours drive from Nawalgarh will take you towards Khimsar. This journey will be made through Fatehpur. You can visit the graceful havelis, which are garnished with exquisite carvings.Night stay in Khimsar will be arranged in a sensitively designed desert camp or in one of the majestic forts.

  • Day 6 -  Khimsar

    Women’s Weaver’s Foundation

    Visit the weaver’s collective, the local Nila Moti Foundation and interact with the women to understand how they live their lives. Relax for the rest of the day.

  • Day 7 - Khimsar- Chandelao (2 hours - 100 km approx by road)

    Scrumptious local cuisine

    A 2 hours drive from Khimsar will take you to Chandelao. Explore the beauty of this quaint village and tingle your taste buds with delicious local cuisines. Interact with the local people to understand their tradition and culture in a broader way. Enjoy a royal ‘sundowner’ trip at camel pace and feel the elegant lifestyle of the Rajput kings.

  • Day 8 -  Chandelao

    Day Highlights Bird watching, hosts ranter about the fort and feudal systems

    Today, you can visit the local markets around the town of Pipar or go watching migratory birds at a nearby sanctuary. Over lunch or dinner, our hosts will make you familiar with the history of the Chandelao Fort. They will also explain how the feudal system works.

  • Day 9 - Chandelao - Rohat

    Mehrangarh fort, Bishnoi village

    While driving to Rohat Garh, visit the enormous Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur and explore the scenic beauty of the Blue City. A visit to Bishnoi village will be arranged. The Bishnois are known for being the original environmentalists who sacrifice their lives for environmental protection.
