Are you looking for a trek that helps you celebrate Christmas and New Year and take beautiful memories to the year 2020? Then you have clicked on a perfect tour. Resting peacefully on the banks of the Tunga River, Shimoga is famous for its numerous waterfalls and mountain peaks. If you are a wildlife enthusiast or trekker, then this is the perfect place to visit and celebrate.

About The Tour:
Treat yourself with panoramic views of nature and bid goodbye to the year 2019 with this package. Sprawling 360-degree adoring mountain views and nature portraying its best sights makes the trip a perfect one. Do not think twice if you are nature freak and looking for an offbeat activity to enjoy commencement of the new year, 2020.

Get picked up on Day 1 and reach the campsite at about 6:00 am. The journey to Kumble Village and Hidlumane Waterfalls begins after breakfast. After relaxing near the waterfall we begin trekking upwards and have our lunch. After sunset and spending some good time at the top we come back to the campsite. The campsite awaits us with a lot of New Year activities and a party. On Day 2, we pack our bags after breakfast and travel back to Bangalore. En-route we visit Nagara Fort and enjoy the site.

Stay:
The accommodation in Homestay on a sharing basis. The property provides a spacious and comfortable stay.

Meals:
Meals include two days of breakfast and one day's lunch and dinner. The meals provided are vegetarian.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Get an overnight journey from Bangalore after getting picked up from the different spots at a different time given below.

    First Pickup: Indiranagar, Near CMH Park at 8.30 PM

    Second Pickup: Domlur, New Shanthi Sagar Hotel at 8.45 PM

    Third Pickup: MG Road, opposite to 1 MG Lido Mall at 9.00 PM

    Fourth Pickup: Goraguntepalya Metro station at 9.30 PM

    Reach the campsite next day and freshen up.

    Around 08:00 AM, begin your journey to Kumble Village and Hidlumane Waterfalls after breakfast.

    Relax for some time near the waterfall.

    Proceed trekking to the top of the peak and have lunch on the way up.

    Descend to the campsite after sunset.

    Enjoy special New Year activities.

    Retire for the night after dinner.

  • Day 2 -

    Wake up early and freshen up.

    Pack your bags and check-out from the campsite around 09:00 AM.

    Start travelling to Nagara Fort and enjoy the glimpses

    Get back to Bangalore with a lot of memories.
