Hong Kong is the place known for its beauty as well as for its Tai Chi. Tai Chi is an art embracing the mind, body, and spirit – Originating in ancient China, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for the health of mind and body.

About the activity:
Tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for the health of mind and body. It has also been referred to as Shadow Boxing for many years. You will experience all the benefits of taichi with a lesson from a local master who will make sure that you get an excellent lesson. You will be taught the proper hand positions, stances and movements that fall under Taichi, alongside others, and you will perform the movements in unison. Each movement targets a specific meridian of the body, thus allowing you to get an all-around exercise. The best part is to learn Tai Chi with the beautiful view of Hong Kong City and good weather can be a plus.

Starting point: MTR Admiralty MTR station Exit A (Next to Maxims cake shop). Please reach at the location 10 minutes before the event start.

  • If either Red rain signal or Typhoon signal 8 is hoisted two hours before classes start, the said classes will be canceled due to concerns about the attendees’ safety. Attendees will be notified of the changes and additional class dates on the same day.

  • Should the weather worsen during/before the classes start, the instructors reserve the right to cancel said classes and activities due to concerns for attendees’ safety? If the classes are canceled before starting time, all attendees will be notified of the changes and additional class dates on the same day. No refunds whatsoever will be paid to the attendees should the classes be canceled while the session is ongoing.
