With perfect blend of solitude and comfort, the stay is ocated in an isolated forested area with beautiful surroundings. This Homestay is the perfect getaway from the bustling city life. The location and serenity of the place will give you the much-needed relaxation. The Stay offers two types of accommodation- one-bedroom treehouse and a two-bedroom cottage surrounded by water bodies and lush greenery. The stay consists of all basic requirements with the Kitchen and in-house restaurant with a lawn and livestock such as ponies, cows, swans, ducks, local chicken and varieties of organic vegetables.

Experiences offered:

-Fishing: Enjoy fishing in the fresh pond right in front of the stay.
-Boat rides: Enjoy boat rides in the pond without going anywhere else with a beautiful view.
-Trekking on the hills: Go and explore beautiful trekking trails with the guide and capture beautiful moments.
-Trampoline: There is a trampoline as well and guests have access to it.
-Rope Swinging from a tree: Enjoy swing from a tree with a cool breeze.
-Natural pool for Children: Air mats and Baby pools available for kids to enjoy.
-Pony Rides: Guests can enjoy pony rides with guidance near the stay.

For outdoor enthusiasts, trekking to Bir Mahadei (Umiam Bridge) at Moorathud Village is a must. The upstream side is a nice spot known as Umsaitstar and a good spot for anglers to catch local fish. Later, enjoy the evening by cook-out (if you love cooking) or enjoy local homemade food made with organic vegetables.

How to reach:
The stay is situated in Ri Bhoi District and is about 2 hours journey from Shillong. Tourists can take Umpohwin Tata Sumos from Shillong to the Homestay.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
