Kohima is the second largest city of Nagaland with a number of beautiful and historic places to visit. Go on a guided tour and visit the famous Nagaland state museum which portrays the traditions and culture of the many tribes of the state, Kohima zoological park on a hill which houses the state bird, the rare Tragopan bird, and the state animal, the wild buffalo, Kohima war cemetery dedicated to the 10,000 Allied soldiers who lost their lives during the Japanese invasion during the World War-II, Kohima cathedral, and Naga Heritage village - Kisama which preserves and promotes the culture and traditions of the Naga people, etc.
