After breakfast in Shillong, the tour will be taking to Cherrapunji from the hotel (Within city limits) with a professional driver at 9 AM in the morning.

Falling on the way are the attractions like Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, the highest point in the state which gives an amazing view of the whole Shillong city.

During lunchtime enjoy the roadside food joints on the way to Cherrapunji.

After reaching Cherrapunji, catch the attractions like Nohkalikai Falls (the fourth highest falls in the world), Mawsmai Cave & Dainthlen Falls.

Attractions covered : 

Shillong Peak - At the height of 6449 ft and 1965 m above sea level, Shillong Peak is the highest point of Shillong. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city, the Himalayas, its waterfalls as well as of the Bangladesh plains.

Elephant Falls - The fall is named after an elephant-like rock at its base. The mountain stream descends through two successive falls set in dells of fern-covered rocks.

Nohkalikai Falls - The falls is  the tallest plunge waterfall in India.

Dainthlen Falls - Scenic park & popular picnic spot featuring a large waterfall in a serene landscape.  The splendor of this falls is enhanced by the presence of a large number of natural potholes, much bigger in size and dimension than the regular ones on the metallic roads. 

Mawswami Caves - The cave is a network of underground caves which is full of beautiful and sometimes scary stalactites and stalagmites. Fossils of prehistoric creatures preserved in time on the walls of the cave.
