About the Activity:
The Colombo countryside cycling tour lets you escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the joy of sightseeing on riding a two-wheeler. Grab the chance to explore the countryside of Colombo and traverse through the charming lane, away from the traffic rush and crowds. The tour ends when you reach Kalaniya Historical Temple. 

The package provides you with Mountain bikes and helmets along with mineral water. The package also provides the service of an experienced guide and is inclusive of taxes, fees and handling charges. Also, the package is inclusive of comfortable pick up and drop off facility from the hotel by Tuktuk and ensures safety by providing first aid and back up vehicle.

Timings: The time duration of the package is 4.5 hours and starts at 7 am and continues till 11.30 am.

Colombo Cycling | Countryside Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    07:00: Pick up from your Hotel in Colombo & transferred by TukTuk to parliament ground where you meet your cycling guide for an exciting countryside cycling expedition.

    08:00: On arrival at parliament ground, your cycling guide will give you a brief introduction about this tour and safety requirements.

    08:15: You will cycle through Colombo countryside and explore out of Colombo landscapes, paddy fields, water tanks and Bird sanctuary.

    09:00: Cycle around the parliament area passing Diyawana Oya Lake and small distance of off-road before heading to Kalaniya Temple.

    11:00: Arrive at Kalaniya and visit the Sacred Temple. Please bring some clothes to cover your knees and shoulders when you are visiting the temple.

    11:30: At the end of the tour You will be transferred back to your Hotel by Tuk Tuk
