Shore Temple

Dating back to the 8th century AD, Shore Temple is one of the oldest temples which represent the ancient designs, carving art and constructions. It is claimed to be a part of Seven Pagodas by the legends and is one of the finest places to visit in Mahabalipuram. One can also locate the decorative top of the temple covered with sculptures and carvings, which indeed adds somewhat authentic beauty to it. The temple is standing strong with the help of the supporting stone that resists it from erosion. Shore Temple is located at the shore of Bay of Bengal which offers a beautiful view of the never ending ocean. This temple has three shrines where two of them are dedicated to Lord Shiva and the other one is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The place is very clean and its location made it a major attraction among the tourists.Location: Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu 603104.Entry-Fee: INR 340 for foreigners and INR 10 for locals, free for children (below 15 years).Timing: 6 am to 6 pm every day.Best time to visit: The best time to visit this historical temple is from October to March, or in the months of January and February, considering the climatic factor.

Pancha Rathas

The word Pancha means five, hence the place presents five Rathas built with rocks. It denotes the evolution or rise of the Dravidian architects. The temple also resembles the historical monarchs and shrines of Buddhists, while the Rathas are associated with Mahabharat. Describing the rath, the first one is Drupati's, which stands in on the right side by the entrance. Arjuna’s rath is situated just beside Draupadi’s whereas, stands Nakula Sahadev Rath and Bhima is located at the front. Dharamraj Yudhistar’s Rath is the largest. Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple

This Temple is a sanctuary that is situated in Rameshwaram Island in an inlet of Bengal it is an old and vast sanctuary built by Lord Rama. It is this temple which was given birth by Devi Sita and is known to be a highly sacred place which makes it one of the most incredible places to visit in Rameshwaram.The Temple stands tall and grand with golden embellishments which shines bright in the magnificent sun of the South. Manikant Kumar Kotagiri Camping & Trekkig

We, a group of 5, suddenly planned for Kotagiri trip to chill out from the early Summer like weather in Mysore. Thrillophilia offered us a very reasonable price for the trip. Everything was well communicated from their side right from the booking details to the proper destination details. In Kotagiri, the camp life was love. Food, which is always the backbone of a trip, was at it's best there. A total trekking distance of almost 8-9 Km was very well guided by the vendors. I'll always remember the early morning of the camp, when the temperature at 5 am was around 8°C,and the lush green tea garden was looking more than awesome. A lovely and memorable trip for all of us. Find below the pics taken out by us on this trip. Thanks a lot to Thrillophilia for making out this trip a successful one. They really deserve a perfect 5/5 review from all of us. Did I forget to mention about the Catherine Water Falls and the amazing Bonfire???

Santhosh Kotagiri Trek

Great place to watch nature in fullest. The view from the top will amaze you. it was a memorable experience for the group. just the trek was tiring but it was worth it. there were small streams and waterfall allover and a perfect place to enjoy with my friends. also, a night stay was very refreshing away from the city. do this trek i am sure you will all love it like i did.

Aishwarya Ramamoorthy Adventure Camp Experience in Kotagiri

Excellent

A must visit place if you want to stay at kotagiri. A fun camping experience where there's a stunning view and you can reach a lot of view points and waterfalls within a few minutes of the hike. The guide we had was a very friendly person and had a lot of information about the local Flora and fauna, tribes and geography. One thing that stood out was the cook, Mr. Kannan whose food was absolute yum. Name it and he would get it for u ! Though it was a camp we were provided with cosy blankets and pillows. Clean toilets and hot water facility are a big plus. Overall, a try worth it.

This was such a fun trek. Firstly, it was all easy peasy and not much of a challenging or tiring ones. Plus, it was a day trek that was neither too short nor too long. If you are planning to have a trek with family, then this is the right one.

Geetanjali Sethi Camping in Kodaikanal

Excellent

It was a nice experience and the campsite is very well maintained as per the location. The staff here is helpful and the bonfire was amazing. We enjoyed our time here and performed many activities. Our camps were big enough and properly hygienic. We stayed here for one night but worth it, Highly recommended.

Ashlesh Khanna Camping in Kodaikanal

A very good place perfect to visit with family or with friends group. The food was nice and beds were comfortable, an on-time pickup was there and the staff greeted us well right from the entering in the campsite. We had a wonderful stay with no problems and with good co-travelers. We will visit again for sure. Recommended.
