"The best view comes after the hardest climb." - This cannot be more true.
Few months ago, two of my friends and I were just looking for a small vacation break and wanted to visit the North region of India. As we were a beginner, we were looking for trips with average difficulty. Taking a chance in the unknown, we went ahead to book the Chanderkhani Pass from Thrillophilia. Since this was our first trip into the mountains, we were both, nervous and excited. On reaching there, we did few activities including rappelling and acclimatization walk. The scenic beauty from the base camp was superb as we could see the mountains covered with the snow. The excitement to reach there doubled after that. Day one ended on a good note after we were given a brief orientation about the next three days. We started for the Chanderkhani pass on Day Two. As we were marching towards the Naya Tapru camp, we saw a lot of natural scenery including green hills, snowy mountains and small waterfalls. On reaching there, we had our dinner and a born fire to end the day. Day three marked our marching towards the Chaklani Camp which was our last stop. From chaklani we marched towards the Chanderkhani Pass which was an uphill on snow. After an hour of ascend in the snow, we finally reached the peak of Chanderkhani. The view from this point was incomparable and totally worth watching. For descending, we did snow slides with the help of the guides which was a different fun all together. Taking the memories of the this few moments, we went back to the Chaklani camp. On Day four, we started to descend back to the base camp which was a journey of 4 hours. To sum it up, it was an amazing experience for us and I recommend this trek if you are a beginner. Ending the post with this,"Travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer"
I was expecting a simple trek, but this seemed to be a dicey and challenging one. Most of my co-trekkers seemed to enjoy this and the overall service was good. We got enough time to explore Nagar town. Our base camp was very good and tents and sleeping bags were of very good quality. Amazing part of the trek was jeep ride as it give us opportunity to see beautiful mountains and landscapes.

Absolutely adorable guide. very patient with the complete family and kept encouraging till we made to the Meadows. more than 1000ft climb and we took our time to stay there and then returned. we walked down to the camp. Got nice tea and relaxed with the kids for some time before moving ahead. If your knees are a little weak don't forget to take a pair of knee band and a walking stick. They will help a lot."
We were a group of 50 students who went on a trip booked through thrillophilia. We had two stops in our journey, Kullu, and Prashar Lake.
Kullu:
We reached Kullu after an overnight bus journey. There were 10 tents, each with clean attached bathrooms. The tents were in a secluded area by the riverside. The location was beautiful and private. We did river rafting (around 4 kms) and rope activities by the day time. Around the evening, we all enjoyed by the bonfire. You can also walk around the streets during the day, and get a feel of the place. All in all, it was a very memorable experience. Next morning, we left for Mandi in a bus, and then left for trekking to Prashar Lake. It was a picturesque 7 km trek, doable for beginners. The view was extremely scenic especially at the top. There were 14 tents for all us, and a sleeping bag for each (The temperature had really fallen due to a hailstorm). Tasty food was served by the lake . There was a great view of snow-clad mountains from the location. All in all, the place was very serene and beautiful. One drawback was, that there were just three dirty bathrooms for 50 people. This trip is very suitable for adventurous people wanting a break from the city life in a destination which is not overcrowded.

We went on a day hike and with a professional guide and cooked our own food , it was a memorable experience.
Journey started on 21 nov ...from start to end i have only memories best memories each and everything food trek stay at camp Mr Raj helped me alot. After long quarantine and hectic jon schedule this is place for beginners to start your journey I believe and for my experience met many amazing souls mother nature
Prashar lake trek is a pretty jungle trail. It's perfect for the first timers as well as for pro's.
I went in Nov, the sun was out and the views were fantastic.
The view of Prashar lake is also serene. Do climb up the mound for the iconic view.
The services at the camp site are also wonderful: fantastic food, courteous staff and warm tents.
I would give an additional star to the organizer, Raj. When you are with him, you don't need to take any stress. He does out of his way to help you.

Jogini falls in Manali is a paradise for adventure seekers and backpackers. People from all over the world visit there to test their Adrenalin rush, and this is precisely what tourist looks for.
We started our trek from Vashist Temple, and it took us around 3 hours to reach the Jogini waterfall, which was approximately 7 Kms.
