"One of the best experience in my life till date. Sandakhphu trek had mesmerizing views and sceneries. Enjoyed like hell. Its great for beginners. So beautiful, so ecstatic, so adventurous. Trekking guide especially DK sir was so helpful and patient. Loved his songs. Food was great all the way. I would definitely recommend for everyone to try once in a lifeime. "
I thought I was going for a trek, but instead I went on a self actualisation trip. It had everything- fun, workout, snow, car journey, bonfire, and anything else you can imagine. Before the trip I was quite skeptical, whether or not I would be able to do it, whether or not the weather and conditions would be favourable, but it all worked out. Our trek guides, Bishu and Sasang, were both so amazing, so motivating, and so supportive, that they made our trip a success. At one point, I wasn’t sure if I could continue on this trek, since my legs were giving up, but our guide motivated us, told us we’re almost there, and made us complete the journey. We took shortcuts, we clicked pictures, we went 2km along the mountains just to see the beautiful sunset hiding in the clouds beneath us, and we came back changed. I recommend this trip to anyone who is reading this. The trek is for beginners with will power, and the journey is going to memorable for years, if not more.

Last year we got married and touring Sikkim and Darjeeling was long in my mind. We had also booked our tickets but 2020 splashed water on our honeymoon plans. But, after a long, strenuous wait of 1 year we celebrated our anniversary amidst the scenic waterfalls and verdant green mountains of Sikkim. And, all thanks to thrillophilia for arranging such a marvelous trip that will be forever etched in my heart. They made arrangements for the most fret-free stays in clean resorts that really take sanitization seriously, and view the most picturesque spots. We went to Tsongmo Lake and clicked an array of pictures of the Brahminy ducks.
A tour of Sikkim and Darjeeling was always on my mind having heard so much about the Yumthang (valley of flowers), the Batasia loop and the mighty tiger hill to catch a scenic sunrise. As a solo traveler I decided to book with Thrillophilia for a 8-day trip to set forth a Sikkim Darjeeling tour that would include all these places. I am extremely elated I did as the teams ensured hassle free travel in air-conditioned vehicles besides stays and dinner at the most hygienic hotels. I am back at Pune after the trip in March but I feel I am back with a piece of Tibet and North Bengal in my heart. I still cherish going to this picturesque hamlet of Chungthang, the stunning Kanchenjunga National Park, and the pristine Gurudongmar Lake. I have absolutely loved my stopover at Kyongnosla and a visit to the Baba Harbhajan dham besides of course the scenic sunrise at Tiger hill, and candlelight dinner at the most unexpected locations. Thanks a ton Thrillophilia for the most wholesome experience there could be!
A complete year of no travels or moving owing to the lockdown left me feeling highly depressed. It is then that me and my friends quickly planned a trip that would include the total Silk route. Staying in Kolkata this is the closest destination we could travel. But, after a lot of deliberations as to who will arrange the trip we thought of giving Thrillophilia a try. And, we are so glad we did. We were greeted and had the warmest welcome on arrival at the Bagdogra airport before one of Thrillophilia’s representatives transferred us to the pristine Sillery gaon. No wonder the hamlet is called New Darjeeling as the place looks like heaven with the tall pine trees and offers uninterrupted views of the Kanchenjunga mountain. We stayed at a plush guesthouse with well-washed linens and clean washrooms. Later, we left for Aritar, spent a night there and after a wholesome breakfast, proceeded to Zuluk to spend a happening evening. At a remote place such as Zuluk Thrillophilia ensured we stayed at a comfy hotel. If you have the silk route in mind and desire to experience the Tibetan culture at its best then this 6 day trip to some of the most gorgeous locations of Lampokhari lake, Reshikola, Kupup lake, Jelep La pass, Tukla Valley and several more, will woo you beyond measure.
I and my friends love to travel through our bikes and we love climbing to the skies and waltzing through a mountain’s hairpin bends. This time we planned to visit Sikkim on our bikes and Thrillophilia helped us to make our dream Sikkim tour possible. I took my bike, my friends got their own 500 cc bikes on rent, and off we went tracing the famous Nathula Pass, the Gurudongmar Lake, and rode rigorously through the spiral bends of Zuluk. It was an amazing experience, they took care of everything from lodging, to food, mechanic, etc everything was well taken care of.
There is nothing like a high-octane ride into the scenic villages of Sikkim or Gangtok soaring mountains. My four friends and I absolutely loved our Sikkim-Darjeeling biking tour that was so well curated by Thrillophilia. We had the most enthusiastic and fun captain to assist during the entire trip along with our team. We whirled towards Gangtok after getting our permits and riding towards Lachung. I must add that the major highlight of our biking tour was sipping on a cup of tea in the chilly breeze at the Zero point. All thanks to Thrillophilia for arranging the most sumptuous breakfasts to kickstart a super enduring day, come what may. We glided along charming villages, picturesque valleys and majestic waterfalls during our 9-day tour. I am still flipping images of the stunning views of Mt Kanchenjunga we were treated to, while descending towards Padamchey.
This February was special and I can think of a hundred thousand reasons to state that. However, one reason that made it really worth my while was touring the whole of Sikkim and Darjeeling in a span of just 7 days. All thanks to Thrillophilia for ensuring magical stays in hotels that take extra precautionary measures in the wake of rising health concerns. And, for curating a tour that perfectly combines the grandeur of Sikkim and Darjeeling. We were a group of 3 friends that had a gala time in the Twin falls, Bhim Nala Singhik viewpoint, and clicked pictures galore, on our way to Lachung. I must make a special mention of our hotel in Lachung that ensured we had the most comfortable overnight stay on their clean bed linens. We explored the tea estates in Darjeeling and absolutely loved Yumthang. Totally recommend Thrillophilia!
