Chitai Golu Devta Temple

It is also believed that this temple grants its devotees all the wishes that they ask for. These beliefs of the devotees make the temple one of the popular tourist destination in Almora.Situated on the foot of the majestic Himalayan ranges, Almora, a small hamlet was sure to have been the best of nature’s hubs in India. The small district not only possess some of the extremely beautiful landscapes, but quite surprisingly is a home for historic and cultural heritage sites as well. The exuberant tourist destination is a serene get away for bag packers and nature lovers.

Kasar Devi Temple

The temple is located on the edge of a ridge on the Almora- Bageshwar highway on Kaashay Hills. Kasar Devi temple became famous after Swami Vivekananda visited the place while he was in Almora. Since then the temple is adored for its importance and history that walks back till the second century. Just outside the village is located Crank’s Ridge which was one of the popular destination during the hippie movement. This also is one of the reasons for major tourist attraction of this temple.The temple has an annual feast organised by the villagers. The most exciting part of the festival is the ‘Kasar Devi fair’ which is like icing on the cake. This festival also attracts several tourists to the village.

Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary

The wildlife sanctuary was constructed in the year 1988 with an intention to protect the vegetation and animals of the central Himalayan region. The place gained its fame back then and it still continues to be one of the most famous tourist location in Almora. The sanctuary has a variety of flora and fauna that are of major attraction to the tourists. Some of the animals you can witness here are leopards, jungle cats, barking deer’s, langur’s, wood peckers and so on. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a great start to tick off the list of different places to visit in Almora. The sanctuary is spread over about 45 kilometres and is of great educational value to its visitors.

Acharyasuta Khanna Xomotel Sunita Himalayan Paradise

I booked this beautiful resort from Thrillophilia at a very decent price and visited here with my friends and we really had a great time at the resort, along with delicious food well served and presented. Loved everything about the resort. The staff is very helpful. The view of mountains from the room is really breathtaking. It is very good to see Himalayan snow from the hotel itself. The complementary nature trail was worth it.

We traveled to Almora with my 3 year old and I am glad there wasn't any extra charge for children of such age. I found it really reasonable and up to the mark. The manager was a polite young man who even asked us about our preference in breakfast.

The resort is lovely, overlooking Almora town and the valley. Mornings are especially beautiful. A nature walk in the Almora woods was refreshing. I liked my time at the resort. Well, spend 2 days.

If you are looking for a fantasy place than this is a must-try. The way this resort is designed is worth seeing. I have visited with my family. We liked our accommodation-spacious and clean. At the evening we have enjoyed a lot with bonfire and played the indoor games which were well maintained. I really appreciate the staff for that. Booking it from Thrillophilia has given me the best deals with discounted prices as compared to all the websites.

I went to Binsar with my family and booked this beautiful resort, and it was one of the best stay experiences. The view from the room was so stunning and beautiful and the rooms were well maintained. The staff was so helpful, Great hospitality, The food was great. Highly Recommended!!! If you are health conscious do take their yoga sessions.

The location of the resort was so mesmerizing. The food was good and the rooms were cozy, warm, and comfortable. Various activities were included like BBQ and bonfire. Me and my friends have enjoyed the evening. Thanks, Thrillophilia for arranging such an amazing stay with great activities. It was a good experience. We were a group of 14 people we all had a lot of fun. Will book again with Thrillophilia.

Abhaidev Gowda Xomotel Sunita Himalayan Paradise

Me and my cousin were on a weekend getaway and one of my colleagues suggested me this property. She has tried it the last winters only. And we have decided to book it through Thrillophilia due to the best deals with activities offered on this platform. We really had a lot of fun there. Their chef is amazing though everything was very delicious I woul suggest to must try their pasta. We have visited all the nearby attractions. Overall a good break from the hectic schedule!
