Waterblow Overview

A romantically superb attraction in Nusa Dua is the Water Blow, nature’s miraculous work of art makes it a wondrous landmark where a lot of tourists come to visit and take photographs. Water Blow lets you watch the powerful waves from the Indian Ocean crashing against the limestone edges on the southeastern cliff. If you want to reach this attraction, you have to walk along the paved footpaths on the southern half of the so-called twin islands.

At the entrance, you will read an arch written Water Blow that shows you the way to the site. The reef with a narrow opening at the edge gives the waves touching it pressure and thus let them rise up to a few meters above and crash land like a huge wave. There is a circular cement stage protected by guardrails. It is built with a huge stone in the middle and with benches where you can sit and wait for each wave to touch you.

Highlights: Remarkably, it is a place for a perfect photo shoot and thus newly wedded couples and honeymoon goers come to the site to be a part of the amusing photos with these crashing waves as the stunning background. Near the site, you will see a stone slab with inscriptions saying, strong currents, dangerous shore break, slippery rocks, sudden drop off and so on.

These are the precautionary suggestions to each visitor to take care of yourself to prevent from falling onto the waves. Visiting the place and enjoying the high waves are at your own risk. But the views are extraordinary to pull a lot of people toward the site regardless the risk factors behind it.
