Darrah National Park Overview
Home to three wildlife sanctuaries in Rajasthan, this national park was established in 2004. Spread over a hilly terrain, the Darrah National Park shares boundaries with Chambal Wildlife Sanctuary and Jawahar Sagar Sanctuary.

Situated at a distance of 50 kms away from Kota, this national park is considered as one of the most famous national parks in Rajasthan. Earlier this national park was to be a ground for royal hunting and with time the Rajputs, Marathas and the Britishers exploited this land to seek asylum during wars.

Around 1955, the Government of India declared this park as a protected area and this national park came into limelight in 2004.
